Going Rogue!

Awesome! The voice of a vibrant true American extolling the faithful and proven values of the Land of the Free!  A message that all Americans should hear… THE book for the hour! Go Rogue!

In this book, Sarah Palin tells it like it is (and like it was).  In it she reveals some of the weaknesses of the political system. She, Gov. Palin, seems to hold strongly to the thought that “truth is not just the best policy, but rather the only policy. It’s enjoyable and interesting reading even though it gets “heavy” at times.

Many of the issues discussed are of vital importance today.  Just a few which are noted:

1.   What is happening to entrepreneurial desire and how to correct it.

2.   Economic prosperity can’t be purchased, especially with borrowed money.

3.   Backdoor politics alludes to coverup and allusion.

4.   Dealing with emerging issues is the only way to prosper politically.

5.  Criticism is often proper, but condemning based on supposition and hearsay is just  ignorance on display.

6.  The values upon which America was founded are still good enough for today, and don’t require fixing.

For what it’s worth, I think you should read it, whether you be conservative or liberal.

Please comment.

Where Are We Headed As A Nation?

I’m thoroughly confused! I often find myself in the confused state, but rarely “thoroughly.” As a proud American, I would consider most any task asked of me for my country. However, there is one thing which is out of the question! Having never served my country in an Armed Service branch, I am much too old now to perform such duties as that would require. For those of you who might wonder why I haven’t served… when my name came up at the Local Draft Board, I was given a farm worker exemption. It didn’t seem so bad at the time, but in later life it disturbed me. Especially so when I received a recent e-mail titled “How To Be A Traitor.” Have you seen it? (Contact me at “tws7436@yahoo.com” and I’ll forward it to you.)

Rather than include it in it’s entirety allow me to briefly describe it to you. There are 20 color photos of Military Cemeteries which are all located on foreign soil in France, Belgium, England, Italy, Luxembourg and the Netherlands. These cemeteries all contain American Soldiers who gave their lives to defend the country in which they are buried and the America which they loved. The total laid to rest in these beautiful gardens of rest is  104,366!

Disturbing… yes! Maybe I didn’t do my part so many years ago. Do I wish I were buried there with them? No, but a vision of reality came into focus and perspective, when I was forcibly made to understand that MY PRESIDENT had openly stated that he was ASHAMED and even APOLOGIZED, to a council of world leaders, for America!

Is there a cemetery, located on American soil, where the soldiers of a foreign land are buried, who fell while defending America? I don’t know of any… if I’m wrong please let me know. I’m not a rabble rouser just trying to make trouble for an Administration I didn’t vote for. I just happen to think that America doesn’t owe an apology to anybody, and I certainly don’t know of a country or leader on the planet who even remotely has the right to ask for one. So why did Barack H. Obama feel that he must offer one?

In the face of everything that America supports and stands for… he apologized for ARROGANCE!  For the most important Leader in the free world to mistake the world wide leadership, of his country, for arrogance is beyond my ability to comprehend, and quite frankly, I’M CONFUSED!

When My President and Your President (yes he’s your President too) feels it necessary to stand before world leaders and denigrate HIS COUNTRY,   WHERE ARE WE HEADED AS A NATION!?

Maybe you can tell me.  I don’t know.
